Matteo Thun designed the stunning Barcelona wash basin collection for Rapsel as a tribute to Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion. The basins are offered in ceramic, White Velvet, an exclusive composite material and three stone versions. Ceramic and White Velvet are offered in two sizes with a hidden drain and they can be wall mounted or placed on a countertop with optional towel bars available.
The Ceramic taps can be fitted to either the wall or the deck; however, the White Velvet taps can be wall fitted only. The Natural Stone basin is produced by bonding stone slabs together and comes in four sizes while the Solid basin is carved out of a single block of stone and comes in two sizes. Both are available in three different stones and can be wall mounted or placed on a wooden countertop with taps fitted to the wall only.
Lastly, the Totem freestanding basin is also carved out of a solid block of stone. and is available in four versions with the square basin mounted onto a stone column. The drain flows into the floor with the tap fitted to the wall or it can be attached to a floor mounted spout. These wash basins have a noble simplicity, silent right-angles and a patented invisible drain.
