IndoTeak is a young company in Java that salvages teak from old buildings for flooring, decking, millwork and other products. Reclaimed by hand from historic buildings slated for demolition throughout Indonesia the company’s controlled process is third-party certified to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) standards. This beautiful hand-selected historic teak has a dense grain and rich natural oils with stunning color variations from warm honey to rich mocha as a result of natural forest growth and decades of air drying.
The “Ivory” pre-finished kitchen floor pictured is composed of 7” and 8” random length and width boards. The kitchen back splash is “Bali Boat Wood” a hand crafted patchwork product made of reclaimed Teak. The company offers two types of flooring: Classic solid teak for mail down installation and Engineered composed entirely of teak for glue, floating or nail down installations.
