eliosolar Hybrid Shades are architectural sun control and shade structures that offer four categories of Hybrid Shade Structures: Sun Shades, Facade Sun Shields, Canopies and Screens. They are constructed in aluminum and contain an integrated invisible solar thermal collector that while shielding a building from the sun collects its free energy to produce hot water. The solar collectors within the Hybrid Shade Structures are connected to the plumbing system of the building. They harness the sun’s energy, transforming its radiation into heat which in turn heats the water to generate free solar hot water. The external shading structure is powder coated aluminum in a Bronze color for maximum solar absorption. It is mounted horizontally to control light and glare, limit the heat gain and lower the indoor temperature.
