Plass, designed by Luca Nichetto, is a Venetian/Murano glass inspired lamp currently being featured at this year’s Venice Architecture Biennale in a beautiful public installation. The suspension lamp is an interpretation of the age-old artisan tradition of glass making through a contemporary process and an innovative polycarbonate mixture.
The aim of the installation at the Biennale is to explore the architectural function of light as the characteristics of the Plass lend themselves to large, high spaces. Available in blue and grey, the dimensions are: at the top 9”, at the bottom 29-1/2” and the length from top to bottom are from 45” up to a maximum of 200”.
